Please read this email to the very end!
If you miss our COVID Secure Guidelines, it could mean you will be refused entry to the salon.
The government have confirmed that hairdressing businesses can now open from the 4th of July. This means we will now be able to start making appointments and don’t worry if you have already contacted us you are on our list!
From Friday 26th June we will start sending out emails with your appointment time and date, the service we have booked ie cut and blow dry or colour cut and blow dry and the cost.
We will then ask you to pay for your haircut/colour etc. via the secure payment link in the email.
Once we have received your payment this will lock in your appointment, if we don’t receive a payment within 48 hours your appointment will be lost.
If the appointment is not suitable then please reply to the email as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you, however, please bear in mind we are dealing with a three month backlog!
If you have coloured your hair with a home colour kit, box dye etc. or you have not had your hair coloured in our salon in the last 12 months we will need to send you an Allergy Alert test, just email us at email@example.com and we will post one out to you.
Preparing the salon to be COVID secure.
We have put in place the following changes to our business in order to protect you – our clients and our staff.
Only accepting pre-arranged appointments.
All clients who make an appointment will be asked if they have any symptoms of the coronavirus and have their temperature checked on entry. If you have symptoms please do not attended your appointment just email us a let us know we will reschedule it for you.
All clients and staff will have their temperature checked.
If any staff or clients have a higher than normal temperature and show symptoms we will ask them to rearrange their appointment. Staff will be told to self isolate for 7 days
A screen at reception for your and our protection.
Asking clients to wear a face mask to their appointment which we will provide if required, we will also wear face masks and visors for hairdressing services.
Asking clients to use the hand sanitiser that is available on entry or wash their hands if you prefer.
Before and after each client we will clean down and sanitise each section of the salon.
Freshly laundered gown for each client.
Towels that are biodegradable and single use.
No more magazines for now, you can of course bring your own.
Drinks will also be withdrawn for now there will be water and paper cups that are biodegradable! again you can of course bring your own drinks.
Some salon chairs will be removed to create more space between clients.
There will be a limit to the number of clients on our premises at any one time.
We will be opening longer hours including Sundays.
All Staff have been trained in our new Health and safety guidelines.
We last had a price increase in November 2017, since then our costs have increased several times, add to this the cost of making the salon COVID secure and we simply cannot afford to hold them at the current level. We have therefore adjusted our prices by seven per cent.
